CNBM Chairman Song Zhiping Meets with Argentina's Ambassador to China

On April 14, Chairman Song Zhiping of China National Building Material Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the “Group”) met with Argentina's Ambassador Diego Guelar to China, Envoy Juan Navarro and Counselor Juan Camio. General Manager Assistant Wei Feng of the Group, Chairman Song Shoushun of Sinoma International Engineering Co., Ltd. and Chairman Meng Qinglin of Sinoma Overseas Development Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Sinoma Overseas”) were present at the meeting.

       Chairman Song Shoushun introduced to the visiting delegation the business and development status of the Group, mentioning that the Group’s subsidiary Sinoma Overseas signed the L’Amali Line 2 – 5,800tpd Cement Production Line EPC Project in Argentina in 2017, which laid a solid foundation for deepened cooperation between the two parties. He hoped that with the support of Ambassador Diego Guelar, the Group could unfold in-depth cooperation with Argentine enterprises in multiple sectors on the current basis and contribute to promoting economic prosperity and development of both China and Argentina.
       Ambassador Diego Guelar said that in recent years, Argentina and China maintained a sound relationship and the economic cooperation between the two developed onto a new level. As there was enormous demand in Argentina for infrastructure development in housing, traffic and energy, the Group and its subsidiaries were most welcome to conduct business in the country and enhance cooperation with local enterprises. He expressed great interest in and recognition for the Group’s business development in Argentina and said that he would continue to promote in-depth exchanges between the two countries, so as to facilitate the Group’s cooperation in multiple sectors in Argentina.
       The two parties exchanged opinions and reached consensus in a cordial and friendly atmosphere. They would take the opportunity of the cement engineering project under progress and rely on the Group’s general resources and advantages to press ahead with all-round cooperation in new energy sectors such as engineering construction, wind power and photovoltaic. Chairman Meng Qinglin mentioned that Sinoma Overseas would take the project in Argentina as an opportunity to further explore the South American market. It would also perform as a bridge between the Group and local market and promote the Group and the Owner of the project to form a community in expanding the South American market, so as to deliver a satisfactory result in implementing the Group’s strategies!
